Our team with our deepest regrets must announce the recent passing of John Isaac Chadwell. John was one of ehsInc's most sought out subject matter experts on Active Shooter. His dedication to workforce safety was paramount.
One of his greatest joys was working with many of you, our clients.
He will be missed.

Powered Industrial Trucks yet again make OSHA's annual Most Cited List. For fiscal year 2019, forklifts make the 7th spot at 2,093 total violations in the U.S.
These OSHA violations are attributed to
- Failing to remove damaged forklifts from operation
- Failing to properly train operators
- Failing to safely operate forklifts

We would like to congratulate Young Community Developers, Inc. (YCD) Cohort 14 graduates!
ehsInc Director of Client Relations Kaila Krichmar was in San Francisco to help ring in the festivities.
We are honored to be a part of such an amazing opportunity to provide 40hr. HAZWOPER General Site Worker; Traffic Control/Flagger; CPR/First Aid/AED; Mold Awareness; Confined Space Entry; Asbestos Abatement Worker; and Lead-Related Construction Worker certification training to the future workforce.
YCD finds solutions to provide workforce development training for at risk youth. We applaud their efforts and what they stand for. ehsInc is a proud partner since 2013!

We had a great time at this year's California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Northern Safety Day Conference. What an important event for water and wastewater professionals - covering the latest regulatory updates and the Risks of Complacency, especially when working in and around treatment facilities.
ehsInc Founder and CWEA Chair Marjorie Del Toro was the event emcee. Call us bias but she was quite the master of ceremonies! Drop the mic Margie, you've earned it.
Our VP of Client Relations Kaila Krichmar was there along with our lead safety specialist Roy Horta who presented on Confined Space Entry and Bloodborne Pathogens.

In 2017, there were a total of 48 fatalities involving vehicles in work zones in the state of California. Having an effective Traffic Control and Flagger Plan is not only required by law but critical for the safety and well-being of workers and general public.

Our very own Kaila Krichmar and the Region I Orange County ASSP Chapter received the ASSP Platinum Level Chapter Award under her 2017-18 Presidency.
