ehsInc Helped Feed over 500 US Marines

ehsInc participated in feeding over 500 US Marines!

This event was organized by Facebook group So-Cal Marine MoMs. This was a simple way of saying Thank You to our young Marines by serving them Holiday Pies and bringing them the closest feeling of having second MoMs.

God Bless and Godspeed as most of them are homesick and will not be able to go home for the holidays.

Giving back through our outreach efforts is never an option, it's a must.

Reminding Water and Wastewater Workers about the Risks of Being Complacent on the Job

We had a great time at this year's California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Northern Safety Day Conference. What an important event for water and wastewater professionals - covering the latest regulatory updates and the Risks of Complacency, especially when working in and around treatment facilities.

Our VP of Client Relations Kaila Krichmar was there along with our lead safety specialist Roy Horta who presented on Confined Space Entry and Bloodborne Pathogens.

Test all Confined Spaces Before Entering

About 2.1 million workers enter permit-required confined spaces annually. According to NIOSH, only 15% of those injured are properly trained in confined space entry safety. Having the basic awareness to identify immediate and potential hazards can save lives.

Today's Safety Furst message comes from our little French Bulldog pal who reminds us to test all confined spaces before entering.

We add that you get all of of your employees trained annually in confined space entry safety. We have a course as short as 2 hours and as long as 2 days.
