Through this partnership students and clients will have complimentary access to safety tailgates, monthly webinars and preferred rates for most services. Del Toro states “This will strengthen the career prospects for current and future students while assisting with the labor shortage of the construction industry.”

The California Underground Facilities Safe Excavation Board works to create new and adjusted policy solutions that are used when considering changes to jobsite safety procedures. The Board strives to be a model regulatory and investigatory board for other states to emulate. There will be an annual meeting of the Board of Directors, the first of which occurred on February 1, 2018. During these meetings the Board will report to the Governor and California State Legislature on its activities and recommendations.
