OSHA News Release! 2021 Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries Released
The Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) released the 2021 Census of Fatal Occupational Injuries, which recorded 5,190 fatal work injuries in the United States in 2021, a nearly 9 percent increase from 2020. Black and Latino workers also had fatality rates disproportionately higher than their co-workers.
OSHA Assistant Secretary Doug Parker called the findings, “a call to action for OSHA, employers and other stakeholders to redouble our collective efforts to make our nation’s workplaces safer.”

ehsInc CEO Marjorie Del Toro Recognized at the Young Community Developers EPA JRT Cohort 20 Graduation Ceremony
It has been an honor to be part of the Young Community Developers (YCD) Environmental Protection Agency Job Readiness Training (EPA JRT) for the last 10 years. This experience has given us the opportunity to provide impactful training for 20 cohorts!
In partnership with Hunters Point Family, the YCD EPA JRT is a 12-week hands-on training program. Participants earn eight (8) certifications during this program, as well as career support and career placement assistance.
Congratulations to our CEO Ms. Marjorie Del Toro, who was recognized for her part in keeping the workforce safe in the San Francisco area.
